Ingredients for this chocolate cupcakes recipe
1 teaspoon of vanilla flavour
125 grams of butter
1 1/3 cup of self raising flour
2/3 of a cup of castor sugar
Two tablespoons of cocoa powder
1/4 of a cup of milk
Chocolate Cupcakes Frosting and decorations
2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 cups of sifted icing sugar
1 tablespoon or 25ml of boiling water
1 dessertspoon of softened butter (use microwave for 5 seconds)
Mix the icing sugar, cocoa powder, butter, vanilla and the water until the chocolate cupcake icing mixture is light and fluffy. Add some extra water if needed.
Preparation and cooking instructions for chocolate cupcakes
Place the butter, castor sugar and the vanilla in a mixing bowl. Mix the cupcake mixture ogether for 3 minutes, add eggs and then beat for a further 3 minutes.
Stir in the self raising flour, the cocoa powder and the milk and then mix until well combined.
Place teaspoons of chocolate cupcake mixture into patty pans and bake in oven at 180 degrees Celsius for twenty minutes.
Remove from oven let cool. Spread with frosting and decorate.
