Ingredients for this meatballs recipe:
Three table spoons of tomato chutney
500 grams of mince, lean mince is best
Black pepper (for seasoning the meatball mix)
1 cup of fresh breadcrumbs-white or brown
Three tablespoons of flat leaf parsley that has been finely chopped
Two tablespoons of olive oil
Meatballs recipe cooking instructions :
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Centigrade. Place all of the meatball recipe ingredients except the olive oil into a medium sized bowl and mix with your hands ( use gloves) until well combined. Then take a small amount of meatball mixture (about the size of a golf ball) and shape into meatballs.
Heat the olive oil in a frypan and cook the meatballs over a medium heat for approx three minutes or so or until browned all over.
Place the fresh meatballs onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until cooked through. Serve the fresh meatballs with tomato or your choice of sauce for dipping (BBQ Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, Soy Sauce)
This recipe makes 20 or so meatballs.
